Definitely, I would say that the cultural factors have influenced our work in Capture. Our artist, born in London, has brought with him to Cornwall his culture that him and his friends are part of in London, and that would be his urban and street-like style we have tried reflecting in our promotional materials.
Having an urban and street-like persona, our artist represents that sort of social group. We have represented them as nice people with good attitudes and good sense of fashion, and we have also tried stressing that people who dress street-like, are not all stereotypical 'gangsters' that some people think of them as.
I believe that I have put in a sufficient amount of work during this project. I have stayed in college after timetabled hours and worked constantly to a high level of standard of home. However, I am not sure that I have accomplished enough to receive as many marks as I may have wanted, but to do so, that meant me relying on people like my artist, who did not show up on most days during the Capture project.
I hope that the responses most people have to my work that I have completed during the project are positive, and I believe that most responses will be, but if more time and effort was put into the project, I believe that the responses I would receive would be even better.
Much of the things I have done in this project will be taken into account of when I begin my next one. I will use what I have learned to an even higher standard and I believe that can be achieved without effort if I apply myself to the work set. This is simply because our first project was getting used to media, and now that we have done that and know our way around the project and how it works, it will soon become second nature and wont consume as much time as it has in this first project.
